American Idol Top 8 Ratings Drop Vs Last Week

AMERICAN IDOL: Top 8: L-R: Judges Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr. on AMERICAN IDOL airing Thursday, March 3 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. © 2016 FOX Broadcasting Co. Cr: Ray Mickshaw/ FOX. This image is embargoed until Thursday, March 3,10:00PM PT / 1:00AM ET

American Idol ratings fell 2/10ths of a point vs last week, despite Big Bang Theory being a repeat. It tied second for the night behind Grey’s Anatomy (which saw a bump) with the Big Bang repeat. Ouch. This was the point last season where the ratings took a dive. Luckily for FOX, if there is a steep ratings decline, there are only 5 weeks left in the season.
