Hollywood Week is Coming!
For new American Idol fans, the American Idol 2023 Showcase Round is a live performance that happens right after Hollywood Week ends. Several hundred Hollywood contestants are whittled down throughout the week leaving a certain number to go on to the Showcase round–typically between 40-60 singers. It’s a fun round, as the contestants sing full songs with full band in front of a LIVE audience for the first time.
The Hollywood Round will probably kick off sometime this weekend. Keep your eyes peeled for spoilers. Also, American Idol will probably announce the winner of the Platinum Ticket contest which they conducted during the American Music Awards.
