American Idol 15 Top 4 Predictions and Poll Results

Here are your American Idol poll results from last week’s Top 5, and I’ll take a stab at predicting who will be eliminated. This week, it might be a tad easier, as we don’t have to second guess the judges panel’s decision of who to save. For the very first time this season–and that’s sad, considering the show is over in two weeks–the decision of who stays and who goes is totally up to America.

Trent Harmon and Porsha Renae are at the top of the poll. I’m surprised MacKenzie Bourg’s “Billie Jean” didn’t rank higher. But come to think of it…

Favorite Contestant

…the stories told in the contestants’ pre-packages were pretty emotional. There were particularly heart tugging stories told by Trent, Dalton and LaPorsha. The songs they chose had a direct emotional connection to the challenges they shared–losing a dear friend, struggles with depression, and escaping an abusive relationship.  It makes sense the trio would land at the top of the poll.
