Last week, the American Idol 14 Top 5 contestants travelled on a private jet to Nashville, TN with mentor and Big Machine Label group CEO, Scott Borchetta. The finalists were given a taste of what life would be like if they won the crown and an opportunity to record an album with Scott’s label.

Clark Beckham, Jax, Nick Fradiani, Rayvon Owen and Tyanna Jones, spent a night on the town, visiting hot spots on Lower Broadway, visited the offices of Big Machine, worked in the studio on their songs with country stars, Martina McBride and Jay DeMarcus from Rascal Flatts and made a trip to the famed Bluebird cafe. We’ll see tonight when American Idol airs, at 8/7c pm on FOX, if a 36 hour immersion in the world of Music Row had an affect on their performances.
