The Amazing Race 27 Recap – Week 11 Live Blog

A new episode of The Amazing Race airs tonight on CBS. Read a live recap here.

Last week Denise and James Earl were eliminated, and only four teams remain in the race. Which teams will get closer to the $1 million prize? Let’s find out!

Chris and Logan were U-Turned by Justin and Diana, but they survived. They want to take down Justin and Diana. Justin and Diana aren’t worried, even though they admit that their use of the U-Turn was unsuccessful.

The leg begins and they learn their next destination: Hong Kong. Once there, they must ride a Rolls Royce to the clue box. Justin and Diana want to break the record for most first place finishes, while Kelsey and Joey want to finally geta first place finish and beat Justin and Diana.

Tiffany and Krista and Kelsey and Joey are the first two teams to find the cars waiting outside to take them to the clue box. Justin and Diana and Chris and Logan get lost in the airport. They were looking for a place inside to claim a Rolls Royce, but they realize their mistake as they go outside. They are the last to leave the airport.

Tiffany and Krista are the first to reach the clue box. They learn they have a Detour to complete: Sam’s or Cells. Sam’s requires teams to go to a tailor and cut six pieces of fabrics and deliver a suit to a man. Cells requires teams to search through hundreds of cell phones to find one that works. Everyone chooses Sam’s except Justin and Diana. They choose Cells.

Kelsey and Joey and Logan and Chris have to redo the task after they cut more pieces of fabric then needed. Tiffany and Krista are correct and get their next clue after delivering the suit. They now have to take a ferry to Macau. Meanwhile, Justin and Diana get lucky as they find a cell phone that works in very little time. However, they get in a taxi that gets lost for 45 minutes. They are now in last place as Tiffany and Krista, Kelsey and Joey, and Logan and Chris get ahead.

The top three teams get on the same ferry. Justin and Diana are behind and they get on another ferry. However, they get on a different ferry than instructed. They were supposed to take the Hong Kong ferry.

The teams arrive at the Roadblock. One team member must participate in a show where they will have to do a 30 foot jump into the water and find a golden fish. If the music ends before they get on a raft, they must try again. Kelsey, Krista, and Logan do the Roadblock. They’re getting ready for the show while Justin and Diana are not there yet.

The show begins, and Kelsey and Logan find the golden fish. Krista didn’t get it, so she has to try again. Logan and Chris and Kelsey and Joey can now go to the Pit Stop: Nam Van Lake. Justin and Diana arrive as they’re leaving. And luckily for Tiffany and Krista, Diana does not get ready in time to be a part of the next show. Krista gets to do it alone as Justin is crying in the audience. Unfortunately, Krista didn’t find the fish again and has to redo the Roadblock. Justin and Diana now have a chance.

In the next show, Diana finds the fish and Krista fails again. Justin and Diana can now make their way to the Pit Stop. The top two teams are already on their way there, and Logan and Chris are Team #1. They win a trip to Peru. Kelsey and Joey arrive minutes later and are Team #2.

Justin and Diana arrive at the Pit Stop. However, they incur a 55-minute penalty due to taking the wrong ferry to Macau. Tiffany and Krista still have a chance, and Krista finally finds a golden fish on her fifth attempt. They can now make their way to the Pit Stop. It’s very tense as it seems like Justin and Diana will finally be eliminated from the race. Unfortunately, Tiffany and Krista don’t arrive in time. Justin and Diana manage to check-in as Team #3 minutes before Tiffany and Krista arrive. Tiffany and Krista have been eliminated from the race.
