Halsey will perform a rendition of a classic song for the In Memoriam tribute, Adam Devine will present a musical tribute to Variety programming, and Thomas Lennon has been tapped as an Emmy Awards “commentator,” in lieu of a host. He’ll just sit off to the side and do intros and intros to commercials. ETA: Know, he’ll be “quipping” all the way through the broadcast. Hm.

We’ll be live blogging all the winners here!

Following in the footsteps of the Oscars earlier this year, the Emmys will have no host.

Interesting tidbist: the clip accompanying The Voice nomination had John Legend telling the winner Maelyn Jarmon, who eventually won on his team, not to pick Adam Levine because he was a veteran coach and therefore “jaded.” Ha. Did NBC choose that clip?

Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner handed out the award to Rupaul’s Drag Race, for a total of 4 awards and the third consecutive in the category (2017, 2018, 2019) for the VH1 series.

Masked Singer’s “Thingamajig” took the stage with the Ernst & Young accountants for a few yucks.

The Emmys are giving away all the major Game of Thrones spoilers tonight. Do they figure everyone has watched/know the major plot points already? Still, some people are going to be mad. Guarantee it!

Peter Tork of the Monkees left out of the “In Memoriam segment. Seriously Television Academy? SERIOUSLY?!!?

There were a bunch of nomineed tonight SUPER SURPRISED to win awards!
