Gary Barlow to Leave X Factor UK

The Sun Reports that Gary Barlow will leave the X Factor UK at the end of this season to concentrate on his music career.

X FACTOR judge Gary Barlow is quitting to relaunch Take That — paving the way for Simon Cowell to return to the hit show he created. Singer Gary, 42, has told X Factor bosses he will be too busy to do the series again next year as he will be working on a new Take That album and tour.

Gary signed a £1.5million deal to continue as X Factor head judge after the group’s new album was delayed.

But he has now started working on the record with other band members, and managers are making plans for a major European tour in 2014 and 2015.

Gary has been a judge on the show for the last 3 years.

Well if XFactor US is canceled after season 3 if rating does not improve, Simon would be free to go back to the UK version.

He’s more than welcome to go now as far as I’m concerned. ;)

The panel will be better off without him. He was like a sack of potatoes. He did nothing for the panel’s chemistry and I didn’t like his judging abilities. With that said, I ? this show. Too bad the US version is such a dud.

I like Gary Barlow but I honestly think the only reason the show was stuck with Chris Maloney was because of him. I knew at least one Take That fan who kept throwing Maloney some votes each week because she didn’t want Gary to be without a contestant. Plus he really nitpicked at Union J to keep Maloney in. And let’s face it, he stinks at picking his talent.
None of that matters to the show, I think they are prepping the public for the return of Simon.
