Congratulations to Season 8 Idol, Scott MacIntyre who got married today to his fiance, Christina Teich in front of about 200 guests in Scottsdale AZ. The singer’s rep confirmed the news to E! News.

And to celebrate the day? Scott is selling his wedding song on iTunes!

Deadly Storm at Pukkelpop in Belgium Causes Stage Collapse

Belgium. Reports are sketchy at the moment. The AP is reporting two are dead, Rolling Stone says 4, the Hollywood Reporter says 6.

Unfortunately this is the type of situation where the death toll could rise as more information becomes available.

Le Soir newspaper quoted a witness saying that the sky got dark, winds picked up violently as hailstones pelted those at the concert. Reports say 60, 000 people were attending the event.

American Idol Rules the MDA Telethon

No wonder the Muscular Dystrophy Association was quick to ditch longtime chairman and host, Jerry Lewis after he slammed American Idol and other reality shows at the Television Critics Association press tour a couple of weeks ago.

MDA has issued a press release announcing their annual Labor Day telethon, and their are Idols all over it.
