It seems like Sam Bailey won season 10 of X Factor UK just yesterday, but today is the day of season 11’s press launch. Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Louis Walsh, Dermot O’Leary and Sarah-Jane Crawford are chatting with UK’s entertainment press right now (Mel B is in LA, filming AGT.)

Check out some tweets from X Factor UK’s official Twitter.

There is something else worth checking out – X Factor’s Press Pack 2014.

The Final will once again be in London’s Wembley arena. The big news this year? The voting will be apparently completely free for the first time ever. Read more on page 6 of the Press Pack.

JustSimonCowell.com also has a transcript of Simon Cowell’s interview with Dan Rather for ASX TV.

The first audition show of season 11 starts on Saturday. As always, I will put up a post before the start. ITV usually releases photos and names of hopefuls before the audition episode even airs (in the morning). After the episode I will add the videos.

I’m preparing myself for the first show, searching for ITV’s livestreams and testing VPN connections. If you know any reliable websites with ITV livestreams, please post the links in the comments below.

  1. Mateja-Hola is a chrome extension that simplifies using a VPN to watch on the official ITV site. I used it end of least series. Check it out!

  2. I know about Hola. I actually had it installed on my previous computer. But I bought a new one last week. I tried to install Hola again, but for some reason it didn’t really work the way it should. Then I installed ZenMate.

  3. Hola works really well for me too. I have my computer all set up to not only watch X Factor on ITV, but Downton Abbey too.
