Tonight former X Factor UK judge Mel B will be sitting in for the absent Nicole Scherzinger.

We start in London. Mel B flew win from the US to sit in for Nicole Scherzinger.

Sanish (27, London) – Sales executive, wants to be a popstar. He attempts Michael Jackson’s “You are not Alone”. It’s not good – he simply doesn’t have the voice. 4 NOs.

Phillip Hadlow (46, Margate) – He says people tell him he has a nice, strong voice. He attempts Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up”. Terrible. His ultimate goal is to become a judge on the X Factor. Simon immediately offers him to sit in for Louis for the next round. Louis goes for a cup of tea as he is once again replaced.

Christina Postma (53) Phillip askes he if she is single. She is an entertainer. She sings something. Phillip compliments her voice, but then says she is not ready. 4 NOs. Also, Phillip figures his time is up.

Gifty Louise Agyeman (20, Kingston, London) – Remember her from season 12? She was shown in bootcamp last year. She wants to do music even though everyone wants her to become a doctor or a lawyer. So many in her family were happy that she didn’t make it far on the show last year, but she wants to prove them all wrong this year. She performs Mary J Blige’s »No More Drama« for the judges. She delivers a solid performance. Judges love her. 4 YESes.

Nicole returns. The judges want to find some good groups. Yeah, Simon needs a replacement for One Direction.

Girl Next Door (16-18, North West) – Saskia, Brit, Katie and Annabel are the names of the girls in this girlband. They bring their families for support. Their audition song is Usher’s »Yeah«. They also do some light choreography. Sharon likes them, but says they are not the best singers in the world. Louis likes their attitude. Simon agrees with Sharon. Nicole says it was a nice audition, but says they aren’t ready. 3 YESes.

5 AM (23-23) – Jordan, Kieran and Nathan form this boyband. They say they love Motown and RnB. Oh and big vocals. They sing Drake’s »One Dance« for the judges. They are good and sound really current. Louis and Simon look at each other, Simon nods to Louis. 4 YESes.

We are back in Manchester.

Tramp and the Lady (Stephanie, James, 57, 30). Lady sings, James sways and does the harmonies. He looks half dead. Odd. 4 NOs

Stefan and Kayleigh – Father and daughter, the judges think they are a couple at first. They sing a terrible version of Bohemian Rhapsody. Louis, Sharon and Nicole say yes. Sharon calls their performance “holiday entertainment”.

He Knows, She Knows (25 and 28) – Sharna and Stephen come from Sunderland. They are a couple. Their audition song is Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself”. Sharna can sing, but Stephen can’t. Doesn’t matter, judges like them. 4 YESes. Before they leave, Stephen proposes to Sharna. It’s a yes for Stephen.

Peter Knox (75, Swansea) – He looks younger than he is. He attempts Tina Turner’s “Proud Mary”. Terrible. 4 NOs.

Ghila Pan (53) – Simply bizarre. Recites poetry and screams.

Kazzey – French guy wears pink wig and a helmet? His clothes are also pink. Performs a terrible song about plastic surgery.

Beck Martin (28, Swanley) – He is originally from Czech Republic and he works as a gym instructor and manager in a fast food restaurant. He brought a smoke machine. He sings original dance song »Friday Night«. It’s terrible – Rebecca Black terrible. He can’t sing either. Judges don’t know how to react. The hate it, but kinda enjoy the madness. Simon says no, the other three put him through, because … why not.

The madness continues tomorrow night.
