Tonight we will see the groups performing for Louis and Tulisa in the Bermuda and 2 boys performing for Mel B and Emma Bunton in Mexico.

We start with Louis and groups in Bermuda. Louis introduces Louisa, who is hiding behind the contestants in the sea. She slowly emerges from the sea like a Bond girl in a white bikini.

Only The Young – Ghost (Ella Henderson)

They sound fine, but they make these annoying breaks in the song.
Louis and Tulisa say they have good energy, but Tulisa thinks a group like that needs an edge.

Blonde Electric – Gold Digger (Kanye West)

They sing and rap. They sound fine, but still, they are just a joke act, IMO.
The judges are shocked, but they like them.

The Brooks – Jar of Hearts (Christina Perri)

They are a poor man’s Jedward. That performance was just boring.
Tulisa thinks they are cute. Louis wonders if they need another year.

New Girlband – Say Something (A Great Big World)

Concept – XO (Beyonce)

Two acts together in one montage. The girlband sings fine, IMO, but they are kinda boring with that song choice.
The boyband also sounds fine. Doesn’t matter: montage = doom.
Louis and Tulisa are unsure.

New Boyband – Mirrors (Justin Timberlake)

All 8 members are introduced by names. The band still has no name. They are being pimped. Their twitter account has over 30K followers by today.
All I have to say, I think these guys are learning FAST.
Tulisa loves them, but thinks 8 members is a lot for 1 boyband.

LOUIS’ DECISION:
Blonde Electric go to see Louis first: they are through to the live shows. The girls jump into the pool.
NEW GIRL BAND, Concept, Only The Young: Only The Young are through to the live shows, the other two groups are cut.
The Brooks and NEW BOY BAND: MEGA NEW BOY BAND is through.

They are taking suggestions for the boyband name!

TOP3-groups-2014

Now we are going to Mexico with boys. Andrea Faustini is super excited to see Emma Bunton!

Jack Walton – Halo (Beyonce)

He is performing with a guitar again. Mel B hates the performance and stops him. She thinks he isn’t connecting. The other boys observing are horrified. Jack’s second performance is more urgent. Emma thinks he is great, but thinks he is nervous.

Andrea Faustini – And I Am Telling You (Jennifer Holliday)

He has great personality. And he gives another great performance. Listening Mel B and Emma talk, there is no way he won’t make it.

The Kleene-X Factor! Louis Walsh breaks down in tears as he sends groups home while selecting his final three acts
He’s long been known as the pleasant and agreeable judge, constantly putting smiles on the faces of contestants with his positive assessments.

But on Friday night, Louis Walsh laid his emotions bare as he faced the tough task of whittling down his six acts to a final three ahead of The X Factor’s live shows.

The jovial Irishman eventually selected Blonde Electra, Only The Young, and the newly-formed eight-piece boy band, who have yet to select a name – but getting to his decision wasn’t easy.

‘Are you serious?’ An ecstatic Blonde Electric jump into the pool after Louis Walsh puts them through to X Factor live finals… despite admitting they’re not the best
Before their performance, Blonde Electric admitted their fears about being forced to return to Peckham to wait on tables and look after strangers’ children.

Thankfully for the American duo, it’s a prospect they won’t have to face just yet after Louis Walsh chose to put them through to the X Factor live finals on Friday’s show.

Jazzy told show host Dermot O’Leary she and her sister Ruby had to succeed because they did not have a ‘a plan B’.
