World of Dance season 3 aired in Winter 2019, and finally the show returns for a fourth season, beginning on Tuesday May 26 at 10 pm ET/PT after America’s Got Talent

The show boasts exciting new format changes and surprises, as world class dancers vie for a $1 million dollar prize and the title of best dancer in the world. The judging panel is once again led by dance superstars — Jennifer Lopez, Derek Hough and NE-YO. Scott Evans returns as host.

One big twist involves the judges crashing the final producer auditions. The dancers believe they are performing for staff. But then…SURPRISE! The dance acts walk in to find Jennifer, Derek and Ne-Yo sitting at the table, waiting to check out the talent. The dancers have actually made the Qualifiers round!

First up are Jefferson Y Adrianita, Salsa dancers from Colombia, who are such huge Derek Hough stans that they named their baby son after him. After they audition (to mixed reviews) a clearly flattered Derek takes the stage to dance with Adrianita. And not to leave Jefferson out, Jlo joins him for a few twirls on the dance floor.

World of Dance season 4 taped in February and March and managed to finish filming the season before coronavirus concerns halted film production. Jennifer revealed in a recent interview that they filmed the finale in an empty studio.
