Watch Lauren Alaina 2018 New Year’s Eve Time Square Performances (VIDEO)

2018 New Year’s Eve celebrations took place in Times Square New York City in bitter cold temperatures. But that didn’t stop American Idol season 10 runner up Lauren Alaina from performing for her fans on the Official New Year’s Eve webcast, hosted by Mean Girls star Jonathan Bennett and TV personality Allison Hagendorf.

The country singer performed two of her No 1 hits, “The Road Less Traveled” and “What Ifs” (sans duet partner Kane Brown). She finished her set with a cover of Katy Perry’s “Firework.” Andy Grammer also performed.

The FOX News All-American New Year special rebroadcast the performances after the ball dropped–which is where we picked up the live stream.

And, for anyone watching Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, Lauren belting out “Firework” could be heard clearly during one of Ryan’s segments. For a little bit, there was quite a competition going on between the two Idol chums.

Basically, Lauren Alaina made appearances on several New Year’s Eve specials last night. Quite a feat!

Check out Lauren’s performances here. Man, she looks like she’s FREEZING. I think “Rockin’ Eve” did a better job keeping the stage environment at least somewhat heated for their performers.
