Watch Carrie Underwood Fly on the AMAs, Tour Ends for the Year


Carrie Underwood wowed the American Music Award audience on Sunday (Nov 20) as she delivered a showstopping, high-flying performance of “Crazy Angels,” from her Denim & Rhinestones album. The American Idol season 4 winner was nominated for Favorite Country Album and Favorite Female Country Artist. (Taylor Swift won in both categories).

The singer wrapped the first leg of her “Denim & Rhinestones Tour” on Saturday November 19 at San Francisco’s Chase Center, following 18 arena dates since the tour’s sold-out launch in Greenville, SC on October 15.

The tour will resume in 2023 on February 2 at Miami’s FTX Arena, making stops in 25 additional U.S. cities including New York’s Madison Square Garden, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, and L.A.’s Arena before concluding in Seattle, WA on March 17. Underwood is joined on The Denim & Rhinestones Tour  by special guest Jimmie Allen on all dates.

Denim & Rhinestones Tour Highlights

 The nearly two-hour set features hits from throughout Carrie’s 17 year career, as well as songs from her new album, Denim & Rhinestones, which she co-produced, including lead single “Ghost Story” and her current single, “Hate My Heart,” which is currently climbing the charts.  Directed by Shaun Silva, the new video for “Hate My Heart” is now available on all platforms.

Following the conclusion of The Denim & Rhinestones Tour, Carrie will resume her ongoing REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency at the Resorts World Theatre in 2023.  The first artist to grace the stage of the new 5,000-seat, world-class theatre, she debuted her residency with a sold-out run in December 2021 and went on to perform additional sold-out runs through Spring 2022.
