The news came after “rumors began to swirl” late last week that Christina would be performing a tribute to the late singer after photos and videos appeared on social media of a “glammed-up” Xtina seen singing with Houston’s hologram on The Voice stage.
Christina was tight-lipped when Entertainment Tonight asked about the rumored “duet” ahead of this past Monday’s live episode of The Voice.
“I am sworn to secrecy,” she said. “I can’t say anything, but I’m very excited about the finale. Very exciting things happening.”
Touring holograms are said to be the wave of the future. Pretty soon your favorite artist having passed on won’t keep them from touring the world.
