To commemorate her chart topping album, Greatest Hits: Decade #1, The Opry has released a performance of Carrie Underwood singing a fan-favorite song, “Wine After Whiskey.”
The tune, written by Carrie, Tom Shapiro and Dave Berg is from the singer’s 2012 album, Blown Away.
You’ll notice that Carrie is still looking trim; The performance is from earlier this year, before the country star announced her pregnancy. Carrie and her husband, hockey pro Mike Fisher, are expecting a baby boy in the spring.
“So this next one we’re going to do is actually a fan favorite,” Carrie said by way of introduction, “Any time there’s any kind of requesting, that [goes on] from people, members of the fan club…they always request this song.”
“So we thought we’d oblige!” Carrie laughed, ” A few of you out there know exactly what it is!”
