They met on season 4 of The Voice and now the couple is married!
Colton Swon, a member of country duo The Swon Brothers, and singer/songwriter Caroline Glaser tied the knot on Saturday at Houston Station in Nashville, reports The Tennessean.
Colton’s brother and musical partner, Zach Swon, served as best man during the ceremony that was attended by close to 300 of the couple’s family and friends. Carrie Underwood sat quietly in the back of the room. The season 4 American Idol winner knows Zach from their college days back in Oklahoma. The Swon Brothers also opened for Carrie on her last tour.
The Tennessean reports that Zach “was overcome with emotion while toasting his brother during the reception dinner.” The evening ended with dancing and live music. The couple gifted their female guests with flipflops for dancing and “arranged for a separate room with a stage stocked with instruments so they could turn the reception into a wedding party jam.”
Russian-born Nashville-based designer Olia Zavozina designed Glaser’s boho classic wedding gown, tuxedos for the groom and his brother and their mother’s gown. The skirt on Caroline’s gown was removable to reveal a shorter skirt for a more comfortable reception look.
Colton and Caroline’s honeymoon will come later. Both are currently busy with new recording projects. The couple live in Nashville with their rescue dog Nova.
