The Voice season 22 artists Bryce Leatherwood and Morgan Myles wrote a song together and recently tracked it in the studio.

Bryce, a member of Team Blake Shelton won the show, while Morgan, from Team Camila Cabello came in as second runner-up. Both are country singers. While Bryce is just getting his start in the business, Morgan has been recording and touring for over a decade.

“Just tracked an original song @bryceleatherwood and I just wrote last week… feels good to get back in the booth with new music,” Morgan wrote on Instagram post alongside a short snip of the two working in the studio.

Memorably, in the semi-final round, Morgan and Bryce joined forces for a countrified duet of Whitney Houston’s “Saving All My Love For You.”

Bryce hinted that he co-wrote with several The Voice artists

For his part, Bryce recently shared that he’s been writing with several of The Voice artists from his season.

“There are several contestants [I’ve written songs with]. I’m not going to mention their names right now, but I’ve written with them and we’re going to put out some music pretty soon and it’s going to be good,” Bryce shared with Music Mayhem Magazine in a recent interview. “So there are a lot of other artists I’d like to write with as well that were on the show and whoever wants to write, if anyone needs help, if anyone wants to write with me, you just call me and let me know,” he added.

And for Morgan, it’s not her first time entering the studio with a The Voice alum. She recently recorded with another Team Blake artist, Top 5 finisher Brayden Lape, and accompanied the young singer in the studio as he recorded his first song. She leant background vocals to the track, helped him shoot a music video and co-wrote with the singer. “Recording some final vocals with Mr. Brayden,” Morgan remarked in an Instagram clip.

Morgan recently made her Grand Ole Opry debut in Nashville

On Jan. 6, Morgan made her Grand Ole Opry debut at the show’s winter home, The Ryman theater. “I definitely got some milestones this Friday…,” Morgan wrote alongside a short clip of her performance of an original song, “Sanctuary.”

“It’s been such a long journey to get the honor of playing the @opry and playing @theryman,” wrote Morgan. “It’s not been an easy paved road for me but nevertheless it’s moments like these that give me more strength in taking the road less travelled.”

Bryce was in the audience to cheer his friend on. “Such an honor to get to watch one of the sweetest people in the world on the @opry stage last night,” He wrote alongside a photo of the pair hugging. “Morgan had a standing ovation after her debut and it brought tears to my eyes…What a dream come true for you! So proud @morganmyleslive.”
