Fremantle Hires ‘X Factor’ Veteran and former Dancing with the Stars EP Andrew Llinares as Director of Global Entertainment – Global production giant Fremantle has appointed Andrew Llinares as its director of global entertainment. Llinares — who will be based in London and report to group CEO Jennifer Mullin — takes over from Rob Clark, set to retire at the end of February after 20 years with the company. The role sees the exec assume overall responsibility for Fremantle’s vast global entertainment production, development and acquisitions teams, and with them hit franchises including Got Talent, Idol, The X Factor, Too Hot to Handle, The Masked Singer and I Can See Your Voice. Since 2011, while living and working in the U.S., he was also an executive producer and showrunner for the U.S. version of The X Factor, before becoming EP and showrunner on Dancing With The Stars in 2018. – Read more at Hollywood Reporter

Harry Styles to Perform at 2023 BRIT Awards – Harry Styles has been added to the performer lineup for next month’s 2023 BRIT Awards. On Tuesday morning (Jan. 17) the singer was added to the roster for the broadcast where he is up for four awards; album of the year (Harry’s House), artist of the year, pop/R&B act and song of the year for his smash single “As It Was.” Styles joins previously announced performers Wet Leg and Sam Smith & Kim Petras at the show slated to take place on Feb. 11 at the O2 Arena in London. – Read more at Billboard
