The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community and the issues that affect their lives.

Nominations for the 34th Annual GLAAD Media Awards are out now and include nominations for The Voice, Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance in the Outstanding Reality Program – Competition category.

Elsewhere on the list, the episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show that featured fellow American Idol alum David Archuleta sharing his coming out journey is nominated in Outstanding Variety or Talk Show Episode. Also a The View episode featuring DWTS alum JoJo Siwa is also nominated in the category. Additionally, the category includes The Kelly Clarkson Show’s “Spirit Day” episode.

The 2023 GLAAD Media Awards will take place in Los Angeles on March 30 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, as well as in New York City on Saturday, May 13 at the Hilton Midtown.
