The Voice will tape both seasons 24 (fall 2023) and 25 (spring 2024) Blind Auditions in July!
The Voice usually tapes the fall cycle Blind Auditions in July and the spring cycle in October. But this year, NBC will tape both the fall (season 24) and spring (season 25) blind auditions in July! The celebrity coaches’ schedules COULD be dictating the crazy scheduling. The music stars have recording and tour dates to work around!
The Voice 24 Blind Auditions and Battles Taping Schedule
UPDATE: The Battle Rounds for both cycles will tape in August
First, it’s Season 24, kicking of in September 2023, featuring Niall Horan, Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani and John Legend. It’s Niall’s second season as coach after winning season 23 with Gina Miles. John Legend is back after taking the spring cycle off. Gwen Stefani also returns as her husband, Blake Shelton, retired after season 23. And Reba McEntire joins the panel for her inaugural season. Click HERE for tickets to sit in the studio audience. The Voice 24 Blind auditions tapings are scheduled over five days, two tapings a day. But note that if the teams fill up, tapings could be canceled.

The Voice 25 Blind auditions and Battles tapings schedule
Season 25 which will air in spring 2024 features Chance the Rapper, Dan + Shay, Reba McEntire and John Legend. The spring cycle will feature The Voice’s first ever DOUBLE CHAIR. The country duo Dan + Shay will sit in their own chairs, but share a button and a team. Reba McEntire will return for season no. 2. After skipping the fall cycle, Chance the Rapper will serve his sophomore season on the panel. And John Legend will sit for a second panel after taking off the spring 2023 cycle. Note that season 24 blind auditions have a 5 day schedule, while season 25 only runs for four days. The fall 2022 cycle featured 56 contestants, while the spring 2023 cycle featured only 40. Will The Voice supersize the fall and scale back the spring like they did for the last two cycles?
Reba McEntire and John Legend have a busy month of July coming up, as they will be taping TWO seasons back to back! Keep notes, guys. Don’t mix up your seasons! Also, now fans know why the spring panel was revealed earlier than usual.
The description on both season pages at 1iota.com describe the typical The Voice rounds: “The show’s innovative format features four stages of competition: the first begins with the Blind Auditions, then the Battle Rounds, Knockouts, and, finally, the Live Performance Shows.” So far, it appears that The Voice isn’t throwing any major twists fans don’t already know about.
