The Voice season 13 key art is out, with the new slogan “Make Some Noise.” Miley Cyrus returns to the series alongside veterans Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. American Idol alum, Jennifer Hudson, fresh off of a winning sting on The Voice UK, rounds out the panel.
We’re more than a month away from the premiere, but already, the coaches are whittling down the competition. On Thursday August 17 and Friday August 18, the Knockout rounds will be filmed. Twenty or so acts will emerge from that round to move on to the Playoffs. Unlike recent seasons, however, the Playoffs will ALSO be filmed. Live shows and viewer voting will not begin until the finals. Fun fact: It’s become tradition for the coaches to perform together every season. That the musical performance was filmed yesterday (August 15).
Battle Rounds, filmed in July, feature celebrity advisors: Joe Jonas with Adam Levine, Rascal Flatts assisting Blake Shelton, Miley Cyrus enlisting her fathy, Billy Ray Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson joining forces with Kelly Rowland.
