The Voice Champs Girl Named Tom & Cam Anthony Random Meet Up!

Newly minted The Voice 21 winners Girl Named Tom shared a story on Instagram about running into The Voice 20 champ Cam Anthony at an airport.  And truly, the meeting between the Champ and the Soon-to-Be Champs was completely random!

The meeting happened as the sibling trio were heading home from the Knockouts taping back in August. “Believe it or not, Tuesday night was the second time we’d held a Voice trophy!!” the three singers, Bekkah, Jason and Joshua Liechty wrote on their instagram account.

Calling it “crazy story time…” the post goes on to describe the incredible meeting, which in hindsight the trio consider “a sign.”

“We didn’t dare think, could it be a sign?”

“Heading home from Knockouts, who sat in our row on the plane? None other than the incredible winner of season 20, @therealcamanthony !!!!” The story continued, “At the time, we didn’t dare think.. ‘could it be a sign?; But now?!?!”

“It was so surreal to talk with Cam about the whole Voice process. Cam even let us hold his trophy that he casually had in his carry-on. (I think he carries it everywhere) JK! Cam is a humble, inspiring artist and we are grateful to now call him friend. Lots of love.”

So Cam just randomly carries around his The Voice trophy? Just in case a hopeful wants to touch it for good luck, right? Heh.

What has Cam Anthony been up to since winning The Voice?

As far as Cam is concerned, today (Dec. 17), he posted a lovely holiday cover of the beloved song, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”

Additionally, he performed at the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, and he sang the National Anthem before a football game in Minnesota between the Vikings and the Dallas Cowboys. That’s all after he won The Voice season 20 on Team Blake Shelton in May 2021.
