The Voice 6 Top 10 contestant, Tess Boyer, is missing, according to her friends. Fellow Top 10 contestant, Bria Kelly is sounding the alarm on social media, and has managed to get #FindTessBoyer trending on twitter.
This is a very strange situation. It’s Tess’ friends who are worried. The singer hasn’t shown up to work or classes in the Carbona, IL area where she lives, in three weeks. Friends have tried to contact Tess’ family, but to no avail. They are not answering their door at home or taking phone calls. That the family hasn’t filed a missing person’s report indicates to me that something may be going on with Tess that her loved ones want to keep private. The silence may be about protecting Tess’ privacy.
Christina Grimmie, Season 6 3rd place finisher, has joined in the search for Tess, voicing her own concerns on twitter and returning tweets to her 636K followers. I have no idea what’s going on here, but I hope Tess is located soon and that she’s OK.\

Interestingly, both Tess and Bria were eliminated in 10th place. Tess, a member of Team Shakira, performed “Ain’t it Fun” by Paramore that week.

Tess is fine. “I took a break from social media, and from my phone, and from different events from my life to completely clean out everything and get back to where God is purposed for me to go.” She asks people to stop hashtagging #FindTessBoyer and hashtag #FindYourself instead.
