The Voice 27 POLLS: Pick the Five Artists Advancing to the Finals, Vote for your FAVORITE Contestant
The Voice season 27 semi-finals aired LIVE Monday night (May 12). It was the first Live show of the season. First, Olivia Kuper Harris, Kaiya Hamilton, Jaelen Johnston and Conor James nabbed the Super Save for their respective teams. Next, the Top 12 sang for YOUR votes for the first time. (Read our Recap)
The Voice 27 Reveals Live Show Format, Special Finale Guest Stars
While The Voice brought back four contestants and a Top 12 took the stage, after the vote, only a Top 5 will be revealed at the end of Tuesday’s ONE AND ONLY Results show of the season! The Instant Save will determine one of the artists moving on.
Programming note: Tuesday’s LIVE results begin a 9 pm ET/PT after a recap of Monday’s episode.
Unfortunately, that means SEVEN singers will leave the competition all at once. Which FIVE singers do you think will move on to next week’s finale? Do the Instant Save contestants even have a chance? It’s worth noting that Adam brought back Conor James, which I’m not really mad about. However, many fans hoped the coach would bring band the popular Britton Moore. Alas.
In defense of Adam, remember that the Playoff round, including the big Super Save decisions were filmed LAST SUMMER. He had no way of knowing which singers would land with fans. The lack of live shows really stinks, and it’s probably why American Idol is currently killing them in the ratings. The Voice would be better off once a year with a bigger budget for items like voting and live shows.
