It’s time for the semi-finals on Season 27 of The Voice!
The Top 12 artists – three from each team – will perform during tonight’s live show for their chance at a spot in the finale. The “Super Saves” will be revealed after each coach – John Legend, Kelsea Ballerini, Adam Levine and Michael Buble – got to choose one more artist from their teams to put through to the live shows.
Team Adam – Kolby Cordell – “Drink You Away”
Kolby made this performance so jazzy and sultry.
John says he feels regret and calls it the best performance. Adam says he doesn’t need to say anything, then says what just happened in the room doesn’t happen often.
Team Kelsea – Alanna Lynise – “I’m Not That Girl”
Alanna does such a beautiful job bouncing back and forth from her lower register to falsetto. Legit sounds like a Broadway performance!
Michael calls it beautiful and powerful and says she made her coach proud. Kelsea notes that she’s shown so many versions of her heart on stage and the set matched the magic she possesses.
Team Buble – Jadyn Cree – “I Think We’re Alone Now”
What a perfect song choice! Jadyn is a rockstar and her voice just soars in songs like this.
John says she’s like family by extension because of her dad and he loves seeing her do what she loves to do. Michael says she’s always unique and her voice is pure and different.
Team Legend – Olivia Kuper Harris – “Someone To Watch Over Me”
Olivia’s voice is perfect for this 20s-style song and performance. Dragged out a bit but it certainly wasn’t bad.
Adam says she should feel amazing about that and she deserves to be here. John says they got to watch a masterclass in finding your way in a song and she made it fresh.
Team Kelsea – Iris Herrera – “Messy”
Iris put on a whole performance with this one! She didn’t just sang, she felt the lyrics and showed it.
Kelsea says she’s proud of her commitment to her artistry.
Team Adam – Lucia Flores-Wiseman – “Black Hole Sun”
Lucia’s voice is unlike any other and this song showcases it well.
Kelsea says the opportunities are endless with Lucia’s voice and career. Adam says it’s been an honor and pleasure celebrating Lucia’s difference.
Team Legend – Bryson Battle – “Without You”
Bryson can sing anything!! Bryson’s voice in this song was like a rollercoaster in the best way. Those. Runs. Did Bryson just win the whole show?
John says he went beyond crackle and fireworks and calls it stunning.
Team Kelsea – Jaelen Johnston – “I Drive Your Truck”
Beautiful country ballad using Jaelen’s beautiful, smooth voice.
Kelsea says he’s making country music proud already and she’s honored to be his coach.
Team Legend – Adam David – “Bring It Home To Me”
Discount if homes, Adam brought the house down with this one!
Adam says he’s his biggest regret. Michael says that meant more to him than any performance on the show.
Team Buble – Kaiya Hamilton – “Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better)”
Kaiya showcased her ability to sing a ballad and then turned it into a funky pop song.
Michael calls her flawless and doesn’t want to talk too much and distract the viewers from voting for her.
Team Adam – Conor James – “Chasing Pavements”
Conor always puts on an entire show and it’s one of the best to watch.
Adam says great singers sing and he loves that Conor kept it pure and simple.
Team Legend – Renzo – “Dream On”
Renzo shined with this song. What a way to end the show!
John says it was at least three times better than rehearsal and he looks like he’s supposed to be on this stage and the Grammy stage.
