On Tuesday (Dec 18) Jake Hoot from Team Kelly Clarkson was crowned champion of The Voice season 17. Ricky Duran from Team Blake Shelton took 2nd place; 3rd place went to Katie Kadan from Team John Legend and Rose Short from Team Gwen Stefani came in fourth.

The Voice live finale featured performances by former coach Jennifer Hudson, Black Eyed Peas, Luke Combs, Lady Antebellum, Dua Lipa and Season 16 winner Maelyn. Additionally, the finale featured the Top 4 collaborating with artists including Yolanda Adams who paired with Rose; Gary Clark Jr. and Ricky teamed up for a duet; Adam Lambert and Katie Kadan performed and Little Big Town sang a duet with Jake.

In addition, Jake was the first one chair turn to win The Voice, and Kelly’s 3rd win out of coaching three cycles of the show.
