The season 17 finale of The Voice helped NBC to a Tuesday night primetime ratings win. An 8 pm clip show earned a 1.0 ratings in the key 18-49 demo, while the show’s 2-hour season finale that began at 9 pm garnered a 1.3 rating and 8.64 million viewers, marking a 1/10th uptick from its 1.2 rating last Tuesday.
For comparison’s sake, The Voice fall 2019 finale is up 2/10ths from the spring cycle, which brought in a 1.1 rating and 7.52 million viewers on May 21. It was the lowest rated The Voice finale ever. However, there is a 23% ratings drop off year to year. Last fall’s finale earned a 1.7 rating and 9.89 million viewers.
