Didn’t I say earlier today to watch out for news regarding The Voice season 14 celebrity advisors? The Battle Round tapings are finishing today (Jan 24) in Los Angeles. And that means it’s time for various entertainment rags to “reveal” which music superstars will be assisting the coaches during the round.
And according to various sources, Hailee Steinfeld, Shawn Mendes and Trace Adkins will be joining The Voice season 14 as Battle Round advisors.
What we know so far:
Hailee Steinfeld will be assisting Kelly Clarkson, according to Access Hollywood. Haille sat in the American Idol audience WAYYY back when Kelly competed in 2002. She was just a kid! “Sometimes when you meet people you’re a fan of their turds,” Kelly says, ever her frank self. Needless to say–Hailee is not a turd!
Shawn Mendes will be teaming up with Alicia Keys reports ETOnline. “I was like, I feel like I should be getting in front of the microphone and singing, and asking her for advice,” Mendes told ET. “I think there was one moment that I was sitting there halfway through a song and I’m like, ‘Am I really sitting here right now with her being an adviser? I’m 19 years old!’ So this is really crazy.”
And Trace Adkins will be Blake Shelton’s advisor. Blake and Trace have been longtime friends, E, which reported the news, reminds us, and have a song together called “Hillbilly Bone.”
Who will be joining Adam Levine? Singer/Songwriter Julia Michaels (“Issues”).
