The Voice 12 Top 11 Predictions, Poll Results, iTunes Charts
How would you rank the Top 10? Hit comments with your thoughts.
10. Mark Isaiah – Team Adam Levine – Will Mark finally be eliminated this week? With two singers heading home, it may be Mark’s week. However, the young singer is very good at one thing–choosing save me songs that move viewers to vote for him.
9. TSoul – Team Blake Shelton – There’s a good chance TSoul will sing for the save this week, unless he can really nail a song tonight. His vibrato and intonation are problematic.
8. Aliyah Moulden – Team Blake Shelton – Aliyah isn’t moving much on the iTunes charts. But if Blake pulls the God card this week, all bets are off.
7. Lilli Passero – Team Adam Levine – For me, Lili’s performance of “Town Without Pity” sounded dated. But what do I know? Adam seems to think the retro song picks are working for her. We’ll see.
6. Vanessa Ferguson – Team Alicia Keys – Last week’s rendition of “Diamond” seemed a little…remote to me. Vanessa is a bold and uncommon vocalist, but she has issues with connecting. But when the song choice is right, Vanessa is on fire.
5. Jesse Larson – Team Adam Levine – C’mon Adam. Give Jesse his guitar back. I wasn’t a huge fan of “Human” last week, but it made the Top 20 on iTunes. Jesse has a good chance to make the semi-finals.
4. Chris Blue – Team Alicia Keys – Chris is a king. The best vocalist in the competition, the soulful singer will probably make the finals. However, this season seems to be a country gal’s to win.
3. Brennley Brown – Team Gwen Stefani – I knocked Brennley down to No. 3 this week, but only because Hunter and Lauren turned in stellar performances last week.
2. Hunter Plake – Team Gwen Stefani – Hunter is a mesmerizing artist. I can’t imagine this competition without out him. I wouldn’t be mad if he won, but his kind (alt-rockers) never do.
1. Lauren Duski – Team Blake Shelton – Lauren dazzled last week with her emotional take on “Somewhere in My Broken Heart.” She’s the singer to beat right now.
