Josh Ledet returns for documentary – Southwest Louisiana-inspired hospitality was on full display recently for an Austrian film crew shooting scenes for a documentary featuring Westlake native and 2012 “American Idol” finalist Joshua Ledet. According to Moonlake Entertainment, the documentary will tell the story about Ledet and Muhrer meeting and recording the song “Climb Every Mountain” from “The Sound of Music.” It will include scenes shot in Austria — at original “Sound of Music” locations — and in Los Angeles. “The whole thing is about how two people from very different backgrounds and cultures can come together and how anyone can succeed no matter where they come from,” Cryer said. – Read more at AmericanPress.com

Adam Lambert: ‘Donald Trump’s first 100 days in office have been a * mess’ – When asked about the recent landmark of Trump making it to 100 days in The White House, Lambert told NME: “I think it’s been a * mess really, and I think anyone who was on my side of the fence would agree with me – but you know, I hope that we as a country can wake up. Hopefully in three and half years from now, in the next term, we can make better decisions as a whole country. I hope more and more people will step up and make the changes that we need to make.” He continued: “There are masses of people who don’t get involved because they don’t feel like they matter. – Read more at NME
Adam Lambert: Queen’s songs are about ‘the heart and the spirit’ – Asked by UPI about the timeless quality of Queen’s lyrics at a Live Nation press event in New York this week, Lambert replied: “They don’t really sing about a lot of things that are about a specific time period. They also don’t sing about: ‘Oh, look how badass we are. Look at all of our money.’ They don’t do any of this ego… I mean, yes, ‘We Are the Champions’ has a braggadocious thing about it, but it’s more of an empowerment, infectious thing for the audience to be involved in. So, I think that their songs are about the heart and the spirit and you can’t really go wrong when you write about that stuff, you know? It’s timeless and it’s universal.” – Read more at UPI

The In’s and Out’s of Nick Hagelin – How would you describe your time on The Voice? It was amazing personal and professional development! I remember being sequestered in that hotel in California and my only goal was to give the best performance I could every week. It was like a Temple of Focus and Discipline. The live performances themselves were pretty nerve-racking, but everything behind the scenes was full of love and support. The show really wants you to do the best job you can, and give you all kinds of resources and coaching and rehearsals to give your best performance every week. – Read more at the Odyssey Online
