FOX’s wildly popular competition show, The Masked Singer returns this fall for a fourth season. And, the network has already released a new promo, full of new clues.

Without knowing anything about the new costumes or cast, the hints are pretty vague. But I’m sure they’ll all make sense at some point.

The singing competition series features celebrities facing off against one another with one major twist: each singer wears an elaborate costume, complete with full face mask to conceal his or her identity. After each performance, the host, panelists, audience, viewers and even the other contestants brainstorm to figure out who is singing behind the mask.

The panelists and audience will eliminate one singer each week, ultimately revealing his or her true identity.

Host Nick Cannon is returning to the show. But after a controversy, in which he spouted off some super sketchy anti-semitic conspiracy theories on his podcast, he basically had to deliver a full throated apology before the FOX powers-that-be would let him stay. As well he should have.

The Masked Singer will return to Wednesdays at 8 pm ET/PT. But as far as a premiere date, much will depend on the COVID-19 pandemic, and how FOX will be able to film under social distancing and safety restrictions.

But in the meantime, what do you think a bee with a crown, mushrooms and broccoli, a flying saucer, a cactus in a flower pot, two hotel room keys, a Buddhist symbol, a purple bow tie, a judges gavel, a maple leaf, and more mean? Check out the fun promo below. Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke will return to the judges panel on the Emmy-nominated show.
