Tonight, season 2 of the wacky singing competition, The Masked Singer continues on FOX. Six of the remaining 12 celebrities sing for a second time. After the audience and judges vote, ONE singer will be unmasked.
Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke sit on the panel, while Nick Cannon hosts and is an executive producer.

Tonight, Flamingo, Thingamajig, Skeleton, Black Widow, Butterfly and Leopard perform.
Flamingo
Clues: “Hi my little flopstars. Being here has been so dope. Cheetah Cheetah flam flam! It reminds me of when I first started out. I went from hood rat to Hollywood triple threat. I come from humble beginnings with absolutely zero connections until one day I was discovered by a powerful wizard who plucked me off my stoop and lead me into a dream. Performance: “Footloose” – Flamingo is a good singer. And she can dance too. Flamingo has Disney star written all over her. She’s not going home tonight. Jennifer says she “broke my botox.” har. Nicole guesses Ally Brooke (NOPE), Jenny guesses Adrienne Bailon. YEP. That’s what the internet thinks! Robin guesses Kandi Burruss. Hint: “When I was a kid, I wanted to be a doctor. I even attended a medical training school.” Popular guess: Jenny’s Adrienne Bailon. She grew up in Brooklyn, was discovered by Ricky Martin, was a member of the Cheetah Girls, and did consider a career in medicine.

Leopard
Clues: “After all my years at the top, it was humbling to nearly lose my mask in a smackdown. It made my more determined than ever to prove I’m still a prime time champion. But you know darlings, I wasn’t born a winner. I wasn’t even always wanted. After being passed from pack to pack, I found I could use my talent as my escape. I have lived my life in color ever since. I always tell my cubs that no matter what the world labels you, it’s never too late to flip the script. As the leopard, I want to be a hero in their eyes. That would be my greatest title yet.” Visual clues: Door with “1963.” A basket with a newspaper placed in front of it. Headlines “Finding your home,” “Fans United for Leopard,” “Finding your place,” Black and white turns into color.
Performance: Stitches by Shawn Mendes – The performance is a little sleepy, but Leopard can sing. Ken things he’s an actor, because he plays his character so well. Nicole guesses Billy Porter, Jenny guesses RuPaul, because drag queen style, Ken guesses Neil Patrick Harris (NOPE). Jenny says Neil is not that tall. Hint: “I once served fast food.” – Popular guesses – I don’t think it’s RuPaul, who is busy with his own reality show franchise. Billy Porter had a secure childhood in Pittsburgh, attending performing arts high schools, etc. Jamie Foxx was raised by his grandparents and the references to “color” could refer to starring in the FOX show In Living Color. Hm.

Black Widow
Clues: “Performing as the black widow for the first time, I felt so confident as this edgy, sultry arachnid. You gotta understand. Ever since I was an itsy bitsy spider, I’ve had to embody a squeaky clean image. But no matter what I try, I just never felt like I fit the part. So while I’ve had an amazing career that’s taken on all different shapes, I’ve been waiting for a moment like this, where I don’t have to pretend. Because all you know for sure about me is my voice and my badonkadonk. And tonight, I’m going country to get y’all even more tangled up in my web.” Visual clues: Framed photo of a peach, she knits, a framed gold record, a television.
Performance: Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood – Pretty strong vocal coming from Black Widow. She gave Jenny the chills. Robin guesses Raven Symone. Nicole guesses Christina Aguilera (doesn’t even sound like her!) Ken guesses Tatyana Ali from Fresh Prince. Hint: “I never went to prom. But I pretended to.” Popular guess: Raven Symone. She was on Cosby and did a bunch of Disney stuff including Cheetah Girls. She’s released music too. Also, she’s from Georgia (Peach references).

Skeleton
Clues: “Going up against the Egg I thought for sure I was going to get beaten. It would have been a shame to unmask after my first shot at being a headliner. You see amigos, my life has been pretty great. But sometimes it feels like joint custody and I’m the deadbeat dad who only gets the keys on the weekend. The long and short of it is, that ever since childhood, I’ve felt overshadowed. But then in my career, I realized, that being in the background let me more instrumental in orchestrating those around me. Now that I’ve had a taste of the spotlight, I’m holding on to it for dear life. And I’m dead serious.”
Performance: Are You Gonna Be My Girl by Jet – Damn It’s SO OBVIOUS who this is. And although he’s entertaining he’s not a great singer. Good chance he goes home tonight. He’s Ken’s sentimental favorites. Nicole guesses Teller from Pen & Teller. Ken guesses Martin Short (AGAIN MARTY CAN SANG Y’ALL. NOT HIM). Jenny guesses Paul Schafer. BINGO. Jenny guesses correctly. “I was once once inducted into the national black sports and entertainment hall of fame.” Popular guess. Paul Schafer. That voice is unmistakable. All the “second fiddle” references (He was David Letterman’s sidekick for over 30 years), and references to “orchestrating.”

Thingamajig
Clues: “Before my first performance, I was shaking like a feather. But once the song started, the nerves melted away. Singing has always actually been my first love. Growing up, my parents taught me to do well in school, don’t worm around and don’t run with the bulls. I was also taught that a thingamajig’s real magic comes from within. I”ve always worn my heart on my sleeve. I guess I’m just a big softie. With this song, I just want to show the world I’m just as warm in fuzzy on the inside as I am I am on the outside. Visual cues: Closet full of outfits, Dolls, sitting at at tiny table with a tea set, an American flag. He hangs out on what looks like a training table.
Performance: Rainbow by Kacey Musgraves – This sentimental and vulnerable performance will definitely advance Thingamajig to the next round. Oh look! Nicole is fake crying. Aw Thingy forms a heart with his hands. As much as he can. Robin guesses…he has none. Nicole guesses…baby jesus. Ha. She guesses Lebron James. Nick shakes his head. Ken doesn’t think it’s a basketball player. Ken guesses Montell Jordan. Hint: “My darkest moment was when I went to rehab.” Popular guess: Basketball player Victor Oladipo. He played for the Orlando Magic, and released music on the Feathery Music label. The rehab reference may actually mean recovering from a tough injury 2019.

Butterfly
Clues: “After time in isolation, I was terrified to step out on that stage. But my coming out as the Butterfly showed me I can be whoever I want to be. At the height of my career, I had everyone saying my name. But when I tried to spread my wings, I lost flight. Everyone had something to say and it always got back to me. It lead to break-ups, breakdown and hibernation. I thought it was the end. But under this mask, I feel like I’m being given a second chance. Performance: Livin on a Prayer by Bon Jovi – Boring performance, but Butterfly can sing. Robin noted that she seemed to be holding back. Oh no. She got electrocuted in rehearsal. No wonder she was tentative tonight. Jenny guesses Fantasia (NOPE NOPE NOPE). Ken guesses Mel B. Nicole guesses Twiggy. Weird guess. Robin guesses Leona Lewis. “I was good in school. But a rebel outside of school.
