The Bachelor (Not The Voice) is the No 1 Unscripted Show of 2016-2017

Check out some stats from the 2016-2017 broadcast television season. NBC will finish the season at number one in the key 18-49 demo for the third time in four years. The win is the first time in five years any network has finished on top without the Super Bowl or an Olympics.

The network that did air the Super Bowl this season, FOX, finished the season at Number 2 in the demo and No. 4 in total viewers. It was also the network’s first season without American Idol, which five seasons ago had led the network to an eighth consecutive season win in the demo.

The number 1 reality series in the demo? Wait for it…The Bachelor at number 11! The Voice finished outside of the Top 10. Non-sports shows ahead of The Voice in the demo: The Big Bang Theory, This is Us, Empire, Grey’s Anatomy and The Bachelor.
