So You Think You Can Dance Update: Courtney Galiano Named To All-Stars, Vegas Week Spoilers and More

So You Think You Can Dance update! Nigel Lythgoe names another SYTYCD alum to the all-star team: It’s…Courtney Galiano! (One of my favs)

@Dizzyfeet: She’s a little firecracker. She’s been Tyce’s assistant in Vegas this week. She’s a #SYTYCD All-Star. She’s Courtney Galliano.

Nigel will name one more dancer to the all-star list–spoilers indicate that dancer is Neil Haskell from Season 3.

Vegas week is over. The Top 24 have been chosen and all that’s left to do is choose the Top 10.

SYTYCDism has a list of Top 24 spoilers from Vegas week HERE.   Billy Bell, Brian Dumlao and Alex Wong were all spotted in Vegas.

Nigel tweets his Vegas week thoughts, “This was the best Vegas according to Adam, the best panel according to Tyce and the best competition for just 10 places according to me.”

Adam Shankman, who is returning to the panel this season, tweeted, “Ths season Nigels really planning on putting every 1 through the gauntlet! We all wept (including Lil C!) in Vegas!!! It was so moving…”

  1. Okay, except for Lauren I’m really liking the all-stars. Can’t say I ever saw that much dance potential in Comfort, either, but in her case for some reason I’m still hoping that it’s in there somewhere.

Looks like we’ll be seeing a lot of Pasha and Anya, which will be nice.

  2. Courtney is MY favorite little firecracker, I am so happy about her Dom, Twitch, Mark and Anya, now bring back Louis A. and I will be so very happy! Oh wait, Louis is a choreograhper? oops well, I hope he is back to do that

  3. He finally announced Neil (via twitter)!!! I am so excited to see Neil again; such a beautiful dancer :)

    Where’s my Joshua Allen?? *cries*

Hand me a tissue. I’m right there with you on that one.

  5. Well, I’d love to see Danny and Joshua and several others. But I’m still very excited about most of the ones we’ve got. I really am looking forward to the caliber of dances they may be able to put together when they’ve got one very experienced partner and only one neophyte, so the experienced partner can help — a lot — in coaching the neophyte and most likely won’t drag him/her down.

Maybe they’ll get Danny and Joshua and Will! and others back next season.

I think they chose Comfort and Lauren to represent the female hip hoppers, wish they would’ve chose Donyelle form season 2, I’m sure many ppl don’t know her, lol.

I am excited for the others though Twitch, Pasha, Courtney, Mark, Neil, Dom, hell everybody. Next year they better have Joshua, Danny, Katie, Will or I will cut someone, lol.

All of the All Stars are there as specialists, so they won’t be dancing in any genre other than their own. It makes perfect sense that Comfort was chosen for hip hop. It’s not like she will be expected to dance a foxtrot, LOL.

  8. The complete “All-Star” list of 10 previous contestants has been announced. Okay, so some people’s favorites aren’t on here (mine included)but overall a good list and I’m pretty excited about this season.

BTW: Can you imagine if this was done with Idol? Do you know how much outrage there would be? Not one winner was chosen as an All Star and only one runner up. That’s not fair! (rolls eyes)
    :)

  9. Still no one from Season 1. I wonder why they made that decision?
