So You Think You Can Dance 14 premiered on an unusually busy night of summer TV, as the 5th and definitive game of the NBA finals aired. The show–once again featuring adult contestants after a departure to junior territory last summer–aired against a Jimmy Kimmel special and NBA pre-game.
So You Think You Can Dance returned to FOX with a 0.9 rating in the 18-9 demo, off 1/10th of a point from last season’s premiere. If you missed last night’s excellent episode, it will be re-aired on FOX Friday night (June 16) at 9 pm.
