The 2019 Billboard Music Awards ended with a showstopping performance from former American Idol, X Factor and So You Think You Can Dance judge Paula Abdul performing a medley of her greatest hits. Sure, she lip synced the whole performance. But so what? As far as dancing is concerned, the 56 year old entertainer has still got it.
Paula may not have lost her moves. But her aim? Hm. Near the beginning of her performance, she steps out into the audience and tosses her hat into the crowd. Unfortunately, it hit Julianne Hough right in the neck. The Dancing with the Stars pro and America’s Got Talent judge seemed fine, but later she posted a photo of herself wearing a neck brace. Oops.

Julianne didn’t seem mad though. “The result of the honor of being hit in the neck by @PaulaAbdul’s flying hat!” Love you babe,” the fellow dancer wrote on Twitter. I guess she doesn’t plan to sue. Paula tweeted back, “OMG I’M PEEING MY PANTS!!!!! You know it was with love.” There is Depends for that! Ha.
