Ten singers will advance to the next round based on America's vote. The remaining six contestants will perform for the judges, who will pick TWO contestants to advance to the Top 12. It will be her first time that Paula sits on the American Idol judges panel since she left the show a decade ago. Will Paula have input on which two singers join the Top 12? These are decisions likely made well ahead of any "wildcard" performance. As for Luke--he was on the American Idol set only LAST WEEK. Hopefully, he caught the virus very recently and did not infect fellow American Idol cast and crew. American Idol airs tonight (April 12) on ABC at 8 pm ET\/PT.
