WARNING: If you don’t want to be spoiled…don’t listen!
Nigel Lythgoe and Ryan Seacrest preview one of tonight’s San Francisco hopefuls, and it’s another major sob story. Not wheel-your-brain-damaged-girlfriend-into-the-audition-room major, but still pretty intense.
Ryan plays the audio, and it’s a sad story–complete with crying, afflictions, dead parents, children born out of wedlock & bills left unpaid. And just like the Chris Medina story, we’ve got a contestant whose vocals could have carried the day without all the histrionics.
Nigel says tonight is filled with talent, and there’s more we haven’t seen yet to come in Hollywood.
Expect another hilarious opening tonight featuring the “humor” of Nigel Lythgoe, which the Idol producer describes as “crude British humor.” Yippie. “I literally laughed for 3 1/2 minutes, ” says Nigel. Oh noes. I’m feeling kind of bad for the poor girl they’re mocking here.
