These days, country music award shows love mixing up different genres. On the 51st Annual CMA Awards that aired on ABC Wednesday night (Nov 8), country singer Maren Morris joined forces with Niall Horan (late of One Direction) for a duet of “Seeing Blind.” The two had previously recorded the song for Niall’s debut album, Flicker.
According to Rolling Stone, Niall emailed Maren to see if she’d consider appearing on the song. She agreed and the two not only recorded the tune together, but she’ll join Niall on tour in 2018.
