Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest – New Years Rockin’ Eve is the big daddy of them all. And it’s quite the extravaganza, beginning live at 8 PM ET in Times Square with host Ryan Seacrest and co-host, Jenny McCarthy. After a break for the 11 pm news, it’s on to the ball drop and more performances taped previously in Los Angeles. In most cities, the festivities will end at 2 am. Performing in Times Square will be Taylor Swift, Florida Georgia Line, MAGIC! and Idina Menzel. Special remote performances from Nashville will include Gavin DeGraw and Lady Antebellum with Elton John also performing from Brooklyn. West coast performances, hosted by Fergie, include Brantley Gilbert, Ella Henderson, Nick Jonas, Nico & Vinz, Train, Iggy Azalea, Bastille, Charli XCX, Jason Derulo, One Direction, Pentatonix, Rixton and Meghan Trainor. – 8 ET/PT ABC.
‘NEW YEAR’S EVE WITH CARSON DALY’ – Carson Daly hosts live from Times Square with performances by Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga, Seth MacFarlane, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams. Actors Terry Crews and Ken Marino, as well as superstar model Chrissy Teigen are set to appear. – 10-12:30 am NBC.
Michael Feinstein’s New Year’s Eve at the Rainbow Room – Standards singer, Michael Feinstein hosts a party from famed Rainbow Room in New York City. Guests include Glee star, Darren Criss, Aaron Tveit, Leslie Odom, Kelli O’Hara, Marilyn Maye, Christine Ebersole and Julia Goodwin. It’s a very Broadway-centric celebration. – PBS 10 pm.
Pitbull’s New Years Revolution – For those of you who can’t get enough of Pitbull! Ha. He hosts a show broadcast live from the Thompson Miami Beach. Performances from Enrique Iglesias, Fall Out Boy, Fifth Harmony, The Band Perry and Becky G – 8-12:30 am ET/PT Tape Delayed FOX.
New Years Eve Live – Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin broadcast live from Times Square for CNN. There is usually at least a moment or two that manages to go viral from the yearly broadcast. Kathy plays her usual outrageous self, while Anderson pretty much never stops face palming. GOOD TIMES! 9-12:30 pm CNN.
MTV New Years Eve 2015 – Victoria Justice and Charlamagne of ‘Guy Code’ host live from Times Square. The hour-long special will feature the comedians of Girl Code and Guy Code “dishing about what made 2014 unforgettable.” MTV’s exclusive roundtable, which includes Carly Aquilino, Andrew Schulz, Damien Lemon, and more, will discuss the most memorable moments, trends, scandals, and relationships of 2014, “the unofficial year of the butt.” Alrighty, then. – MTV 11 pm.
