Monday Morning Mediabase 11/09/2020

Seven milestones on the Mediabase airplay charts this Monday Morning.

Lauren Alaina’s collaboration with Hardy called “One Beer” has entered the top 5 on Country.

Gabby Barrett returns to the top of the HAC chart with her debut single “I Hope”. The song is also top 5 on Pop and top 10 on AC.

Harry Styles is working his third single from his second album while he still has two songs high on the charts. This week “Golden” moves into the top 30 on HAC.

“Speak to Me”, the second single from Koryn Hawthorne’s “I AM” goes top 20 on UAC.

Colton Dixon is working the debut single from his latest album. “Miracles” slid into the top 10 on CAC this week.

Hallowe’en is over, so that means it is time for Christmas music. Therefore, we see a lot of lost bullets on AC along with the arrival of Christmas songs. Carrie Underwood teamed up with John Legend for yet another version of “Hallelujah”. This isn’t the singing show standard by Leonard Cohen – this is an original written by Legend. The song debuted in the top 40 on AC followed by Kelly Clarkson’s “Under the Mistletoe” with Brett Eldridge (another original – no relationship with the Bieber album of the same name) also in the top 40. Pentatonix’s “Do You Hear…?” with Whitney Houston (who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this weekend) from last year returns to the AC chart.
