If Matt McAndrew was looking to change his image, his new “Counting on Love” video is one way to do it. The Voice 7 runner-up’s new music video features the singer as a Tyler Durden-style fight clubber, who not only fights to the finish, but knocks the crap out of his opponents. It’s bloody. It’s messy. But it does end on a romantic note!
“So happy I got my friend Andy Hines to direct this video,” Matt told Yahoo Music where the video debuted, “Seeing it start as an idea in his backyard to becoming an all-night shoot in the desert was really exciting. I hope people enjoy the finished product.”
The picture in your mind, of Matt sweetly crooning Beach Boys classics like “God Only Knows” Coldplay’s “Fix You,” and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” is about to be altered…
Matt is currently crossing the country on a tour in anticipation of his major label debut on Republic Records.
