Alex Preston made good on his promise to head to the woods where he wrote and recorded his self-titled debut album. Initially conceived as an EP, the project blossomed into an 11 track album during his stint in the wilderness last winter.
The first video for the debut single, “Break My Heart,” was shot in and around the little cabin out west where the American Idol alum made the album.
Recently, Alex hit the road with the Como Brothers and fellow season 13 alum, Sam Woolf, for a few concert dates. Unfortunately, on Friday, his van was broken into, and $7,000 of gear was stolen! But the loss didn’t stop him from playing later that night. “Thank God for insurance,” the singer tweeted.
