Lauren Alaina performed new song ‘Just Wanna Know That You Love Me’ on The Bachelorette

It’s only Week 2 of The Bachelorette 2023 and Charity Lawson seems to be already falling in love. On a date with bachelor Aaron B., the two went out on their first one-on-one date in Los Angeles. After a romantic dinner, Charity surprised Aaron with a private concert from Lauren Alaina who performed her brand new song “Just Wanna Know that You Love Me.”

The American Idol and Dancing with the Stars alum performed the sweet and romantic country ballad as the couple slow danced in front of the stage. Smitten, Charity offered Aaron a rose, which means he’s not leaving the competition. Not this week! He could be the one to eventually earn Charity’s final rose and the opportunity to propose to her.

Aaron Bryant, a 29-year-old software salesman from San Diego seemed to sweep Charity, a child and family therapist from Columbus, Georgia, off her feet. “Aaron B. held nothing back,” Charity gushed about her potential fiance. “He actually has feelings for me and he’s not afraid to vocalize that to me.”

“You’ve been so vulnerable and so open…will you accept this rose?” Charity proposed. Aaron didn’t hesitate, responding, “I will 100 percent accept this rose.” After Charity pinned the flower on his lapel the two kissed as Lauren finished performing the sweet ballad.

“It feels like a dream come true,” Aaron said afterward. “I can’t stop smiling.” Charity shared, “This is literally the first day of the season and I’m feeling this good. This is blowing it out the water.” She feels hopeful that finding true love by the end of the season could happen.

This is so sweet, y’all!” Then, she trolled Bachelor Nation spoiler Reality Steve. He asked if she planned to break out the “Thicc as Thieves” dance during the performance. Charity is searching for her soulmate, while Lauren is engaged and planning a wedding

While Charity searches for her soulmate, Lauren has already found hers. Last year, the country singer got engaged to Cameron Arnold and is currently planning her wedding. In November, she introduced him to the world on the Grand Ole Opry stage, where she is a member.

Additionally, Lauren recently released Unlocked. The six song EP is her first set of songs on her new label Big Loud Records.

“I recorded these songs thinking about the girls back home,” Lauren said in a press statement about the new EP. “At some point or another, I’ve lived every one of these stories, and I think that might mean that they have, too.” The Georgia native added, “I hope they feel seen and heard whenever they turn this music on. Rossville girls: this is for you.”

Over the weekend, Lauren released the studio version of “Just Wanna Know That You Love Me.” Listen to it below.
