Lauren Alaina had a special surprise announcement for fans at the Grand Ole Opry this weekend. In the middle of her Saturday, November 19th set, the American Idol season 10 runner-up introduced her boyfriend Cameron Arnold as her “fiancé” for the first time.

After explaining how special it was to join the Opry earlier this year, Lauren said, “I didn’t think this year could get any better.” she continued as she held up her left hand to show off the ring, “Yesterday I got asked into another family.”

“Everybody, this is my fiancé!”

Lauren described the moment after Cameron popped the question, “After he proposed to me, I said you have to come out on this stage at the Grand Ole Opry.” As Cameron strode toward her, Lauren said, “Everybody, this is my fiancé,” after the two kissed, Lauren gushed, “Make some noise for my future husband everybody!”

On stage, Lauren said that Cameron isn’t a fan of the limelight. “He did not want to do that… He likes to be in the shadows, and he was like ‘you’re not making me come out there’ and I said ‘you are not, not getting a picture in the circle. So, we negotiated and he came out for the picture.”
