Kelly Clarkson has been ordered to pay estranged husband Brandon Blackstock g $200,000 per month in spousal and child support.

This, according to legal documents obtained by The Blast

Kelly’s monthly income is 7 figures

A Los Angeles County Court judge issued the order following arguments over issues related to the former couple’s property, children, and monthly income. The filing reveals the two’s finances. And it reveals that The Voice coach an OG American Idol winner  earns $1,583,617 per month in income.

According to the filing, starting April 1st, 2021, Kelly is required to pay Blackstock $150,000 per month in spousal support. Kelly will also “pay child support to (Brandon) for the benefit of the minor children, River Rose Blackstock, born June 12, 2014, and Remington Alexander Blackstock, born April 12, 2016, in the amount of $45,601 per month.”

Kelly’s ex abandoned his management career to ranch full time

Interestingly, the documents reveal that Blackstock is abandoning his career as a manager to pursue work as a rancher. He “made a very deliberate choice to change his life and become a rancher full-time,” the documents state. He plans to sponsor rodeos and work the ranch.

Blackstock has ditched his clients, except for Kelly’s fellow The Voice coach, Blake Shelton. The documents say that Blackstock “spends minimal time regarding his representation of his remaining client, Blake Shelton.”

Kelly wanted to sell the Montana ranch. The judge declined her request

During the ongoing proceedings, Kelly requested that the court allow her to sell the former couple’s Montana ranch. But, the judge denied the request and ordered Blackstock to start covering the costs of the property.

At the time, it was agreed that he would be “responsible for making the timely payments for the carrying cost of the Montana ranch, which included handling the mortgage, loans against the property, taxes, and insurance.” According to the documents, the expense totals around $81,000 per month.

Kelly is required to pay Blackstock’s attorney fees

Also, according to the order, Kelly is also required to pay $1.25 million in Blackstock’s attorney fees and professional costs for their ongoing divorce.

However, the order for support is temporary, and the amount could change once the two figure come to terms on the rest of the divorce.

Recently, Kelly asked the court to legally declare her single from Blackstock before all their financial issues are settled. She said in the filing that she and Blackstock  “both deserve the opportunity to build a new life.”

Kelly filed for divorce in 2020 after seven years of marriage. Kelly and Blackstock reportedly signed a prenup on October 15, 2013, just five days before their quiet, rustic wedding (The Blast calls the wedding “star-studded” but literally only their immediate families attended). According to a previous report from TMZ, has challenged their prenup, and a judge has yet to rule on the validity of the prenup.
