The American Idol season 1 runner up is currently playing Fiyero in the Broadway production of Wicked. But between shows he is performing his one man production “Lovesick” at the New York City club.
“Guarini’s 54 Below debut, directed by Gordon Greenberg, is “his tribute to all the horrifying places love has taken him–from a Catholic School closet in Doylestown, PA to the revolving hotel rooms at American Idol, and ultimately, to Broadway,” describes the show description at Broadway.com ” With a seven-piece band, back up vocalists Nikka Lanzarone & Shayla Benoit and music from Burt Bacharach to Beck to Mika, Lovesick promises to be an evening of raucous and revealing storytelling–and a full-on party.”
The “revolving doors” of American Idol include relationships with Kelly Clarkson AND Tamyra Gray on which Justin has no qualms dishing about during the production. Kiss and tell, indeed.
