No sooner did One Direction rack up 8.24 views on VEVO in 24 hours for their “Live While We’re Young” music video, breaking the previous record set buy Justin Bieber, that the record was broken again. By who? Why Justin snatched the record back back last week, with the help of American Idol judge, Nicki Minaj.
Justin and Nicki’s “Beauty and a Beat” video racked up 10.6 million views in 24 hours. It helps that VEVO begged the Beliebers and Barbz via twitter to help break the record again.
It’s the battle of the teen idols. ya’ll. Justin is winning for now, But I would not count Simon Cowell’s boys out.
Which video do you prefer? Both feature the guys romping in a pool. But I’m giving this one to One Direction. A+t least they didn’t use a lame prank to publicize their video.
