American Idol 6 winner Jordin Sparks to sing Anthem before 2023 World Series Game 3 10/30

American Idol season 6 winner Jordin Sparks will sing the National Anthem before Game 3 of the Major League Baseball 2023 World Series on October 30. Fellow American Idol alum Mickey Guyton is scheduled for Game 4.

The National League Champion Arizona Diamondbacks will host the American League Champion Texas Rangers in the 119th Fall Classic. Jordin grew up in Arizona where her family moved after her father, Phillippi Sparks, retired from the NFL.

Jordin has performed the National Anthem many times before professional sports events, including the Super Bowl in 2008 after her American Idol win.

Fox’s network coverage of the 2023 World Series begins at 7 pm ET for all games and will include National Anthem performances at approximately 7:45 pm ET.

Jordin recently signed a deal with music licensing company, Epidemic Sound

Jordin also competed on Dancing With the Stars season 31 last year with pro Brandon Armstrong, finishing the competition in 9th place.

Recently, Jordin signed a deal with Epidemic Sound, a music licencing company and will partner with the outfit to create and release a collection of classic Christmas songs later this year. Epidemic Sound will make the tracks available to its worldwide community of content creators and distribute them on all major digital streaming platforms.

The multi-platinum singer and songwriter was the winner of season six of American Idol, one of the show’s highest-rated seasons, garnering worldwide attention. The Phoenix native has toured with superstars Britney Spears, Alicia Keys, The Jonas Brothers, New Kids on The Block, and the Backstreet Boys. She currently holds the position of Governor of the LA Chapter of the Recording Academy.

Jordin’s past singles include “No Air,” “One Step At a Time,” “Tattoo,” and “Battlefield,” among other global hits. Cumulatively, her singles have sold over 10 million tracks in the U.S. alone. Jordin also co-wrote Ariana Grande’s smash single, “The Way,” earning her a BMI songwriting award.

Additionally, the singer released a new single, “Call My Name” which features her husband Dana Isaiah in the official music video.
